16th Septemeber 2024: Green tech company, Thermly, announces the launch of a Somerset-wide competition, giving one lucky homeowner the chance to win a heat pump and installation, worth up to £15,000. Four runners up will also receive £9,500 towards their heat pump installation through the Thermly platform.
The competition launches on 16th September 2024 and will run until midnight on 11th October 2024
To enter, homeowners must head to www.thermly.co.uk/winaheatpump and complete the simple form to enter. Details of the process, and all the applicable terms and conditions, can be found there too.
Once the competition closes, Thermly will email all eligible entrants to complete a heat pump readiness test, before a randomly selected shortlist of five households are notified that they have made the final stage. A survey will be carried out at all five homes, and then a winner picked at random. Each of the four runners up will benefit from £9,500 towards the cost of their installation.
Entries must be submitted by midnight on 11th October 2024.

Heat pumps are an energy efficient, low carbon way to heat homes and futureproof them for years to come. Last year over 60,000 heat pumps were installed in the UK, and the government has ambitions to increase this to 600,000 per year by 2028.
The main prize to win a new heat pump and installation worth up to £15,000, as well as the runner up prizes, all include the £7,500 Boiler Upgrade Grant, which will be applied for on behalf of the resident through the process.
